The robotic lawn mower factory behind SmartMowBot is the outdoor power equipment business of Sunteam Group, founded in 1997 and publicly listed in 2015. Sunteam Group has been an engineering and manufacturing company for outdoor power equipment since 1997, and listed on the public market in 2015. The robotic mower line sits inside that wider outdoor power business, which gives the SmartMowBot platform a parent older than the robotic mower category itself.

GOALKER

GOALKER is the robotic mower brand and engineering centre that opened in 2023. The team owns the platform IP behind UNICUT and has filed multiple patents through ongoing product development. GOALKER picks the navigation stack, the AI vision model and the app, then hands the locked spec to the same factory for production.

Overseas channel

SmartMowBot

SmartMowBot is the export channel that opens the UNICUT platform to overseas brand owners, distributors and OEM and ODM buyers. The channel translates the GOALKER platform into a programme conversation a brand can sign, and runs the buyer-side relationship from inquiry through to production handover with the Sunteam Group factory.

Whole-machine assembly, mainboard design and production, embedded software, and joint development all live on the same site. Spec-lock, prototype and mass production never cross a city. A brand programme can move from a spec sheet to a production line without changing factory.

Final assembly, QA and packing run on the same site that builds the sub-assemblies, with no contract assembler hand-off in between.

PCBA design and production

Mainboard layout, sourcing and SMT happen under one roof, so a schematic change becomes a revised board on the same site.

Embedded software in-house
